WE DID IT! :D

Today marked the day we sucessfully complete this project! Maybe that means no more blog :(, or maybe no more staying up late editing like a boss. But yes, the project was fun.

Now that we're done, time to cross our fingers and hope for the best!! But deep down, we know we worked our hardest BESTEST BEST! :D

Final Video filming day!!!

We are going to film our third and last video! Finally! It will involve the epicness of the first video and the cleanliness of the second video, creating one grrrrrreat video! The topic for our last video will be graphing sine and cosine. Looking forward to it! We'll get another good grade for this one for sure! Using the green screen is so fun and entertaining. We have four more articles to finalize and finish. After all of that, the only thing we have to do is putting together the magazine. Haven't decided if we are meeting one more time before the due date. 5 more days you guys, 5 more days!!

Just a Normal Day

Friday. I am so sleepy. I have no idea what to blog about. We’ve been building up our Calculus. Which, of course, isn’t quite as interesting as Trigonometry. We aren’t really doing anything else. The deadline is coming up and we’re doing really well so far. Yep.

I forgot to mention that it was Loc’s birthday on Tuesday. Sweet 16^th, Loc~!!

Time Oh Time !

Time is running out!

Our project is coming along really well. We received our scores on the second video and the last article we turned in. Very good scores! So proud of this group! (: Saturday, we plan to work on our third video. It will be a mix of the first and second video: The Matrix themed video and the clean, simple tutorial video. I can’t get into too much detail about our final video, but stay tuned! (; I hope I can stay for at least an hour on the meeting day, because I have so many family plans throughout the whole day. …I still need to finish the three website reviews! I have been lagging on it because of all the schoolwork, but I will most likely finish it by this weekend. Approximately 11 more days until May 7!! As the due date comes closer and closer, the less schooldays we have for our 2011-2012 school year.

Just Another Day!

Speaking of the number three…on the third weekday, we will be spending three hours on a video! It’s going to be fun. I hope I don’t look repulsive. That tends to happen. I’m not very photogenic. And recordings always make me sound different. Or maybe they make me sound normal and I hear myself wrong.

Break Is Over :((( AWWWWH

Spring Break is almost coming to an end, meaning one week less until this final project is over. In this duration of time, one new article has been finished. The subject: Vectors. Oooo, fun stuff. Also, Loc and Thomas created a mini-Matrix type of video. Yvonne and I didn’t make it to the meet-up day on Easter, so we’re not featured in it. The next two videos for sure! (-: So, we’re set for the article and video due on the Monday we get back from break. Progress in our project is coming along really well actually. Woo! Go trig!

I'll PROVE myself Wrong!

I think I wasted my entire break, and it’s only Tuesday. Haven’t done any school work whatsoever, except maybe more frequently reading the sports page on Mercury News for puzzle ideas.
I’m working on it right now, actually. I’m done with three puzzles, and I have a bunch to finish later. Working on the comics will not be a pleasant experience.
The video is looking really good. I feel as though everything in this project will end up looking really good except for the ones I contribute in without edits. I’m going to prove myself wrong. Or try my hardest, at the very least.

BREAK Time!!! :DD

SPRING BREAK. Nine days of excessive eating and housework, here I come! We have a video and article due the Monday we come back. The article is taken care of, since we already have two, but we plan on writing more to get those over with. We’ll do the video later. The plan? By the end of this break, we’ll only need three articles, a video, and the construction of our magazine and website left to do.
I’ll try to finish the puzzle and comics page next week.

Can't Wait Till Break!!!! :D

Three days ‘til break. We’ve gotten two articles done so far, much thanks to Loc and Thomas. I’m still thinking about how to make a comic. Working on a crossword puzzle. It’s harder than I thought it’d be. Much like the comic.
I thought I could get away with sitting around and playing Jenga by myself until the last minute, where a sudden burst of genius would come with enough ideas to supply seven factories and a power plant.
Now I’m not sure if I have enough ideas to power a solar panel. On the sun.

Maybe I’ll write a horoscope page. I have this gut feeling that Cancers are feeling very generous and will have a good and successful life ahead of them. They will also most likely win the lottery. Only if their generous mood is sustained. Until May. The 25^th.

It’s hard to come up with a trigonometry comic. I tried to be clever and make a stupid pun with the word “trig”, but when I google’d up some rhymes, all I got were “dig”, “pig”, and “hermaphrodite brig”.

Have fun in trig to avoid the life of a hermaphrodite brig!

WEEKEND!!! :D

        Three day weekend! To be spent on math. Marvelous. We’ve picked our topics already. Graphing sine and cosine, and verifying and solving equations. Not sure about the other material, but we’re definitely going to cover those listed above.
        Loc designed us a new interface for our blog. It’s fancy. He’s such a hard worker. And I’m just sitting here writing a lame blog entry. For all I know, he’s making our website into an interactive 3D hologram filled with snacks every time you eject the disc drive on your laptop.
Note to Loc: Mr. Niazmand likes Cradbury Mini Eggs.

I’m going to find out how to make a trigonometry comic. Be back next week.

Trig Isn't All Bad

        Enough of the sadness. Let’s bring some unicorns and rainbows…and Pre-Cal into this entry to brighten up the mood! On the other hand, I am actually looking forward to this project, and you, who is reading this blog, should be too! I think the processing, with the website, the magazine, the videos, and this blog, all these features will be interesting to work on, but most of us are probably not looking forward to the actual trigonometry work itself. It may take away some of our free time, but it will be worth it at the end. We will be meeting soon to discuss about what exact subjects of trigonometry we will be choosing, and what we will be doing for the next couple weeks, and make a schedule. From graphing, to vectors, to reference angles, we will have it all, here, on Trig in a Day! This is just the start of something new to us all. We probably never have a received a project like this, that is split into three crucial parts.

        Let’s all see where this takes us, what aspects of Trigonometry we will go over, and how all this turns out, yeah?! :D

        Are you excited?! I said… Are you excited?! YOU BETTER BE, because what you will see in the next couple weeks will leave you mindblown.

..Hopefully this will all raise our grades up by the end of the year. *fingers crossed*

The First Day

Not too excited about this project, but what can I do about it? Trigonometry isn’t that great. If anything, solving triangles is nice. So is simplifying. Not too confident about verifying, and I always tend to miss the extra step when solving. Vectors are easy. Usually.
Looking forward to the magazine. And by that, I mean the puzzles and comics. I like puzzles.
The videos, not so much. I’ll most likely end up humiliating myself. Then again, it’s not like I was thought of very highly in the first place. So it’s okay.
I have a good group. Loc, Jessie, and Thomas are all smart. I wonder they consider me worthless. But that’s okay. Because I like puzzles.
